To Live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all…. Oscar Wilde.

So my friends where are we and what’s been going on? I hear you ask, Darron has been ever toiling on our beloved rolling home Trinny, every day making her more and more beautiful, while I turn my hand to interior design and soft furnishings, along with a dab of paint and a few brush strokes of varnish.

Trinny update… the toilet is now in, whoop whoop! And this week Darron will be changing into his Mario outfit to become plumber extraordinaire, as soon as the water pump arrives. The bed is made, the shelves are filling and once the plumbing is complete, all we have to do is pray for a run of sunny weather to paint her, which will then ready her for the dreaded MOT.

On the writing and publishing side of life, I was thrilled to be approached by the amazing team at Shepherd.com to give five book recommendations and have an author profile on their up and coming website, which is now live, follow the link below and take a look.

We are both currently working on two new titles, me more than Darron, due to van building, my latest book is a ghost story which spans decades beginning in the 1920s and the birth of my heroine Audrey, who at the tender age of 60 decides to tell the sad, fated story of her life, and what drew her to the secluded, and neglected cottage named Foad-Aghy. The story follows Audrey as a young child, who lives through World War Two, seeing not only the physical devastation of war but also the segregation and separation from good friends because they happened to be born in Germany.

Foad-Aghy is a rollercoaster of many heartfelt moments, sheer frustration due to prejudice, utter heartbreak and times of absolute terror. I am so excited about its release (Watch this space for news on the launch).

Darron is working on something completely different, and I will let him fill you in on the next blog, well that’s if Trinny is on the road of course.

Our aim, once Trinny is finished is to get out and about, selling our wares in person at as many craft and book fairs as is possible, if you would like to see us at a venue near you, please contact us, either through the website or our Facebook page and let us know where, it will be lovely to meet you all.

I’ll sign off now, as I have a manuscript screaming to be worked on, so for now, I’ll bid you goodbye and wish you a warm and peaceful few weeks,

All the best,

Louise and Darron X
