What I absolutely love about writing historical fiction is...
that I feel as though I have travelled through layers of time as I write it. My latest book is based in the 1950s and I had so much fun researching that era, and recollecting old stories that were told to me by my parents and grandparents, it has been a truly wonderful experience! My latest novel, Storm in a teacup is the second book in the Peggy's Legacy series, the first being A penny for 'em, which follows the tragic life of Carrie (Peggy's grandmother), her loves and many many sacrifices that she had to make in her life! Storm in a teacup begins with Peggy's journey to find her long-lost brother, following the death of Carrie. Both novels tend to tug at your heartstrings, I often found myself shedding a tear or two when I was writing!
