So, after a burning desire from such a young age to write a book, in 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to take the plunge and wrote my first-ever novel, which was none other than Carrie's Legacy! Thinking at that time that I could probably write the sequel, I had no idea that there were in fact another nine books in the complete series (I am halfway through writing the last one! so keep your eyes peeled for that!). Anyway, I digress, since my writing journey began, I have also begun another journey of equal importance, a spiritual journey..... For many years I have followed the ways of a pagan, but following a trip to Glastonbury, there was a pull to learn more!
Becoming a member of OBOD and completing the Bardic grade has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life, and in turn, it has aided me in my career as a writer, what I have learned and continue to learn, can now be reflected upon in my books.
After the release of my latest, stand-alone novel Shadows of the Past, I looked through my earlier work and decided, that yes, there was definitely room for improvement! So now I have the task of editing and polishing the first five books in the Carrie's Legacy series! (Wish me luck!)
So, while you are all out enjoying the wonderful British summertime ha!, think of me, while I am shackled to my desk, drinking endless mugs of coffee and undertaking the gruelling task of remastering my books!
